Guest guest
Okay...here's what you do. Call the boss, the lip woman, and anyone else in charge into the conference room and tell them that the woman's lipstick needs to stay on her lips if they wish to avoid a sexual harrassmsent/discrimination suit. All you have to say is that you feel uncomfortable with the growing sexual atmosphere in the workplace and that it is time for it to stop. Then you walk out and go back to work. You are perfectly normal to feel uncomfortable, and that's why there are specific laws about this kind of thing. If they do anything to because you speak out about it...you'll be able to sue them and own the company. Stick up for yourself! > I think I hate my job. I work in an office and it is harped upon to > look professional. I work as an assistant to an engineering > department. I love the guys I work with, and hope they like me > working for them. Here is the issue, and what would you do? One of > the girls in the accounting department has been leaving lip prints on > the " window " to one of the managers in my department. So she > decides to leave lip prints on this guys whiteboard instead! Again, > I show her manager, and he says he will be talking to her about it. > Seems my manager thought there was nothing wrong with this, but then > sounds like he is flirting with her (sexual induendo's in email, > etc).
