Guest guest
I've posted recently about some fears of CCA causing my recent increase in bilirubin. My GI at one point was very concerned about CCA as a result of my labwork, but now is not. We're not even going to go through with an ERCP until it is scheduled as part of my " routine " in April of 2009. My question to all of you is whether you would be conerned about lab results like these: Alk Phos: 327 AST: 118 Total Bili: 1.0 Direct bili: .4 (this is high - normal is .3) Albumin: 4.5 The above numbers are up from where they were earlier this year, but they are down slightly from where they were in October..... I'm mostly concerned about the direct bilirubin and AST because both are about double where they were earlier this year. Should I be pressing to have an ERCP or MRCP done now rather than waiting until April? Thanks for any help here! Rick
