Hi to all, and welcome to all new members! I don't post much but I

do read all the posts and today I just need to relate how I feel to

those who understand. I am having a really terrible flare of IBS and

fibro and it's making me feel very angry and frustrated! I've been

hurting for a while now but within in the last week it's really

gotten bad. At first I thought it was was the DDD because my left

arm and hand were hurting so bad and swelling plus my left hip, leg

and abdominal area started up too (and now I'm back to limping)! The

pain med too I am on isn't working, barely even taking the edge

off!! So I called my doc yesterday and they squeezed me in, in the

evening thank goodness! I told him I thought I had a pinched

nerve....he said everything was the fibro and IBS flaring and more

than likely it was pinching a nerve on my left side (I've had

tingling and numbness too in my hand). So he put me on a muscle

relaxer - Skelaxin, anyone use this one, is it any good? And gave me

a new prescrip for pain med - percocet. He is also sending me to

physical therapy. I hope it helps because I feel like I'm on the

edge, I am so tired of being in pain ALL the time and my back is the

worst! Monday morning it took me 10 minutes to literally stand upon

getting out of bed my back was hurting that bad!! This is just one

of those days I could just sit and cry, but here I am at work when I

really should be home, but alas I have used almost all my sick days

already and after driving an hour I guess I will tough it out!

Thanks for listening to my babbling and I hope everyone has a pain

free day as possible! Take care!

Dana, land
