RECRUITMENT FOR MIGRANT AND COMMUNITY HEALTH CENTER BASED IN HOOD

RIVER, OREGON:

2. Summer position for Oregon-licensed PA, FNP or PNP -- available

3. future position for Dentist, Family Physician, PA, or FNP

At La Clínica del Cariño Family Health Care Center, Inc. in Hood

River, Oregon the Board of Directors is currently recruiting

applicants for the position of Executive Director. The successful

applicant will have executive leadership experience, be

mission-driven in providing primary medical and dental care to the

underserved (with an emphasis on migrant and seasonal farmworkers),

and show skill and background in working in a multicultural setting

and a complex health care financing environment.

In addition, La Clínica has a position for a full-time midlevel

provider to work at Migrant HeadStart centers from mid-June through

mid-July this summer. The successful applicant will be licensed to

practice in Oregon and have good Spanish-speaking skills. Working

hours begin early in the day, allowing a mid-afternoon end time.

This means meaningful work, with lots of daylight left each day to

enjoy the wonderful mid-Columbia Gorge and all its recreational

opportunities!

Finally, La Clínica hopes to open our first medical and dental

satellite next fall in The Dalles, Oregon (20 miles east of Hood

River) and is accepting inquiries from interested dentists, family

physicians, and midlevel medical providers for the positions we plan

to fill there.
