Guest guest
Isn't a potassium deficiency a cause of leg cramps? Bananas are a good source of potassium. Laurie Re: *Re: Terrible aching legs- but nospasms jeanne, The Subject heading says " but no spasms " . Are leg spasms a hypo symptom? My new husband sometimes gets awful, awful leg cramps at night that are often prompted by a day of physical work. I am thinking it is an electrolyte deficiency, but he says he has tried all sorts of things for it before. (frankly, I am guessing he probably did not try taking enough magnesium, but I dont' know that for a fact) So is it possible at all that this is a hypo symptom??? Boy, at least now I know what those aching, restless legs things was all aout for me. I am getting very little of it anymore. But the spasms....my husband says they have never figured it out. He also has not drank any coffee for about 1 1/2 years, so we can rule thatone out. ~Inga > > > : > MY legs ached, throbbed, felt like they were constantly drawing at > nite...restless legs too...they shook uncontrollably....for 3 years > they kept me awake at nite..all the while I thought it was menopausal > symptoms,,,(according to doc)---well, now that I have been on > Armour...this has all stopped(knocking on wood)--for at least two > months now....oh, and I have only been on Armour for 6 months.. ...I > have been sleeping with a portable massager in bed with me at > nite...to use on my aching legs to get me back to sleep>--I was > turning it on at least once an hour for 15 min. or so...lately,I have > not used it at all,(but still sleep with it ,I suppose for security)-- > lol---jeanne > >
