Sorry this update is rather late, but we're awaiting an ultrasound of Tom's liver. The doctors think the bloodflow through the liver isn't as good as they like, so they may have to take him back into surgery. This is not at all unusual, but of course it isn't what we'd hoped for. The ultrasound tech came in almost an hour ago, mumbled something unintelligible and disappeared. We probably won't know anything for awhile.

The good news is Tom is very alert and he's conversing this morning. His pain is controlled by the morphine pump that they gave him. He looks really good, so obviously the bile must be moving well. Hopefully they'll be happy when they finally get the ultrasound and they won't have to go back in. I assume if they do go back in it will be laproscopically, Please keep praying!
