Guest guest
Hi EveryOne, Just reading about adding T3 in addition to Armour on Dr. Lowe and wondered if anyone here tried Armour plus T3 (Cytomel)? If so, why, and what was your experience. Thank you:-)) Still learning:-)) BTW I tried Hydrocortone (Cortisol) 5mg. four times a day, for two weeks as Dr. Jeferries recommends. I found I feel better with Isocort. I did notice that a burn I got while on Hydrocortone healed beautifully. As Dr. Jeferries said, small doses of Cortisol help healing as large doses do not. I agree at least that was my experience. Guest guest
>>anyone here tried Armour plus T3 (Cytomel)? If so, why, and what was your experience. Thank you:-)) << ME! I take 5 grains Armour and 50 MCG Cytomel daily. Why? Cause when I got to 4.5 grains I still had tons of symptoms, and I had testing done which revealed not only my Free T4 was just a tad low, but my Free T3 was out of range low. SO I figured the additional .5 grain Armour would cure the slightly low T4 and I tried that for a few months. Still had many symptoms, so I ordered Cytomel and have worked up to this dosage on it. I still have a few symptoms.. I can;t remember $hit still, but my concentration is MUCH improved, I still can;t manage to lose enough weight. I weigh t200 and should weigh no more than 135. I have a slight tremor in my hands that is worst when I think about it. When I am scissoring dogs which requires a perfectly steady hand, it is not there. My temps are normal for the first time in my life! I still do not have the energy I would like to have but I blame some of that on the long term hypo(25 years Synthroid did ALOT of damage) and being totally out of shape from being unable to exercise for so long. I am looking for the magic bullet that will trigger weight loss for me, but I haven';t found it yet. Aside from these things, I feel 250% better than I did even on Armour alone. I am able now to keep my house relatively clean, operate my grooming business which is VERY physical (groomed a 150 LB Newfoundland today!) and still come home and feel decent if not energetic. Maybe I am looking for youthful energy that I just no longer will have at 50 years old! LOL *Artistic Grooming * Hurricane, WV Fat cat? Diabetes?
