I can't believe it, Ainslie turns 10 today and Connor turned 6 last

Friday. They had a gymnastics party at our local PCYC (think it is

similar to a YMCA elsewhere) on Saturday and they had an absolute

ball. Every couple of years I combine their birthdays - makes it easier

for me and they love it as there are more people to have a great time

with.

I am still so amazed that Ainslie has stayed so well. I remember so

clearly the dread and worry I felt in the first couple of years, it

still comes back to haunt me when something new occurs.

But hey, Ainslie has only been hospitalised for sinus clean outs and

that is it. She has only had one serious lung infection and that was in

July - that was enough to get her to understand why you need to look

after yourself ie be able to breathe. So besides the myriad of drugs,

treatments and exercise she is just a normal everyday kid.

Must go I have exams in 19 days, as someone reminded me just a little

while ago, and I am not at all ready for them.

Terri

mum to Ainslie 10 wcf and Connor 6 nocf
