Hi!

I thought I was off this list, but Torsten told me I was just set to

" no mail " . Duh.

Anyhow, I am back.

I am chairperson (self-elected) of the National Cystic Fibrosis

Awareness Committee.

We are responsible for getting the senate to (unanimously) pass

resolution S 270 declaring National C F Awareness Week in the U.S.

October 13 - 19, 2002.

Not to brag, but this is is pretty cool.

Also, the CFF recognized this event this year.

HEY , we all appointed / elected you .You won fair & square..YOU GOT THE

JOB DONE!!!

I did get a chance at the conference to chat with many folks

about it .I also saw them picking up the flyers too. .I did them in

bright yellow..........I know lots of flyers , etc are put

there.........BUT, everyone goes there & checks it out

Barbi's candle pins are no longer available...EXCEPT for a few that I

bought from Doug last year and still have. Like maybe 6 at the most.

I am sure Doug and Barbi's parents will give us permission to remake some.

Not til next year, though, if it's up to me.

If someone else wants to undertake this, I can help.

If anyone recalls the candle pin and wants one, I can send to you.

They are $2.00 (which is what she paid for them).
