In my previous post I meant that I had battled the intruder twice and won

(not

" one " ). Computer maintenance is so important to us all right now. I feel

that

if one does have the knowledge to do it, then it may be worth it to hire a

tech

nician to do it and teach one how to do it. I update my virus definitions

about

every other day now, do disk cleaning (some other computers will have to do

scan disk as well), and defragmentation several times a week, And I delete

ALL temporary files, cookies, history, and offline data on the Internet

Options

(or equivalent on your computer) many times a day; I just book mark stuff on

my browser, rather than saving a lot of stuff to take up memory and attract a

virus. Any book you can get on how to maintain a computer is a good invest

ment as maintenance can keep each of us from passing viruses onto one a

nother--and somewhat like an actual vaccination--eventually the doggoned

thing is attenuated at least. Good luck to all on cf parents with this. The

price of lack of vigilence can be disaster, I fear. And none of us wants our

cyber-space cf community to be interrupted by one of these little darlings!

Good luck to all at cf parents in our own " cyber-battle! "

Love and highest hopes,

n Rojas
