Hi! Today they removed 's IV - yes! I think I am happier than she is.

She is still coughing more than her norm. Now she will do zithomax 500 mg.

3 times a week. She has been out of school for 2 weeks. She was so tired

and coughing so much - to the point she vomited into her dinner plate!

I think she is depressed. I know I am . I feel like I do everything " right "

and she still gets sick! 's IGE # is up to 1600 again.........I have to

take him for xray and PFT's this week.

My husband is still a piece of ____. At least something is consistent.

I was never a worrier now I feel like I am worrying.....

It this typical with the first home IV.......that feeling of dread......what

if....is this the beginning of frequent IV's, etc.....

Take care and thank you for listening..........

Rosemary in New York with 3 children with CF - they are 12, 9.8, 5.9...I

coined the phrase " BREATHE DAMMIT " ; and now we have a dog named - are you

ready for this -

TOBI after their medication!

I felt the same way you did after we did our first home IV's. Of course there

are no guarantees about what the future will hold (for any of us) but Mycah

hasn't needed home IV's in almost five years. Maybe it will be the same for

.
