Guest guest
> Just wondering how many here have flown and has it given you any > trouble.?? > Brett Brett, I have flown on over ten flights since I had my acute attack with no difficulties whatsoever. I took all my meds with me to be prepared, but had no use for them. Some of these flights were several hours in duration and the most difficulty they posed was to find something I could eat! Many of the U.S. airlines don't even offer meals now, but even finding appropriate food on the long connecting flight in the terminals was a hassle. Unless you are predisposed to a lot of tension, stress and nervous anticipation about flying in general......(aren't many?), I wouldn't think you would have any problems. I found flying MUCH easier that going the distance by car. With hope and prayers, Heidi Heidi H. Griffeth South Carolina hhessgriffeth@... Guest guest
Brett, Take your medicine with you. Try to cut your stress before the flight. I have flow during an attack of pancreatitis. I worst problem was that we climbed for what seemed the whole trip and nose dived in to the airport. My ears gave me major problems for 10 days. It all has to do with the shape you are in before you fly. I found that the flights do not add to my pancreatitis. Watch what you have to drink and eat on the flight. That is the key. Good trip to you and may you be safe. Thanks, > Just wondering how many here have flown and has it given you any > trouble.?? > > I have to fly to Brisbane next week it's no very far only 2.5 hrs. Guest guest
Brett, I've flown several times as well and had very little problems. I just made sure I had all my medications with me (including the bottles with the prescription label on them). Kimber -- Kimber Vallejo, CA hominid2@...
