Dear I could be a little biased here :-)(ok very biased) My CP was caused by alcohol. I have never heard of it being ok for anyone to drink alcohol suffering this disease.Just the smell of some types of alcohol makes me want throw up. The pancrease produces a thick sludge in order to deal with the alcohol and this in turn may have the effect of blocking the ducts and therefore causing further complications.
