Everyone here has been thinking and wondering how is doing. From what you have told us it sounds as though is on his way to being well. I am really impressed that he can eat. Some people who have the surgery are able to eat right away and some have more trouble keeping food down. I am one who had problems keeping food down. But after a while it all works out and before you know it you are well enough to come home. Are you located on five D? I was on five D and my view was the college. Can you please tell me your view? Do you still have a private room? Have you been able to sleep in 's room in the fold up chair that makes a bed? I am so glad that is improving. I am looking forward to no more infections. It is so great that he is able to eat and yes I had pain after surgery but it was not pain that was like pancreatitis pain but pain for the surgery. Does he still continue to take any medications for pain? Please tell hi for us. Love, Shirley
