Guest guest
Hey everyone! Hope you are all having a good day and pain free. I am having a real diet problem. Low-fat, no dairy, no sugar/carbs, no citrus, no tomatoe, no sugar substitute with asphercrem (sp)in it. What is left??? Spoke with the doc today and he is referring me to a dietician to help me figure it all out. I know I can eat some fruits (but must watch and not eat the " high sugar " ones, veggies, cold water fish (yuck!), and whole grain rice but what else is there? Also need some ideas for drink besides water. Not allowed anything carbonated and most juices are full of carbs. HELP!!! If any of you have suggestions, I would love to hear them. Thanks for your time! PS If I get any good ideas from the dietician I'll pass them along. Hugs from Ohio, Elicia
Guest guest
Elicia, may not help with the food, but for drinking, try drinking hot and iced tea. You can add sweet-n-low(nonaspertame sweetner) or Splenda (nonaspertame sweetner). It's something besides water. Same for hot and iced coffee if you like them. You can also get unsweetned kool-ade in different flavors and add Sweetnlow or Splenda to them. Hope that helps some. Kimber -- Kimber Vallejo, CA hominid2@... Guest guest
Hi Elicia Your message sounds like mine from a few days ago!! I have the same delimma! On good days when I can eat, there's so little than I can have and I get so-o hungry! Low/no fat, ADA(diabetic),low residue,no fresh veggies, and NO meat! It's a real bummer! These folks here have been so helpful! I'm sure the Dietician will be of great help also. Please pass on any good info you might learn about, ok? Thanks! Have a peace filled evening!
