Guest guest
è I am going in tomorrow for a CT of the abdomen and was è wondering if any of you have had this. Has it helped in è making a diagnosis? è Thanks for all respones, è Darcie Dear Darcie, Hope your cat-scan goes well. From what I understand a cat-scan can help in some circumstances - if there is structure damage to the pancreas or if cysts are detected. I have only had 1 cat-scan so far and the pancreas was " unremarkable " . So it didn't help with my diagnosis. Can you please let us know where you live? Also please check your email for a letter sent welcoming you to the PAI. Lots of Gentle Hugs, ReeAnn ReeAnn M. Betts ReeAnn@... Guest guest
è So here's my question... what stats are there, if any, on CP è turning è into cancer??? è Anyone??? è Thanks ! è Peaceful dreams to all! è Cyndie:-) Dear Cyndie, Somewhere back when I first heard the word pancreatitis and was doing all kinds of research, I read that we have a 40% better chance of getting Pancreatic Cancer than the average person. I never read anything that said it is inadvertable. Just that we are at high risk for it. Good reason for timely follow-ups with your GI...... Wish I knew exactly where I read that, I would send the link. Will do some poking around and see if I can find it again. Lots of Gentle Hugs, ReeAnn ReeAnn M. Betts ReeAnn@...
