Guest guest
Dear Louie, Sounds like you have a pretty terrific mother also, and an equally wonderful and rewarding relationship with her... Good for you! It always makes me happy to hear that. Do you realize how incredibly fortunate we are to have such masterfully WONDERFUL mums?? They are certainly special. My mother is my best friend... And it was NOT always that way. I was sent to test her faith as a child, I believe. Haha. Fortunately, I was sweet as pie in the next hour, so she only got me in batches. Unfortunately, she also had my two sisters and brother to deal with at the same time (we're all four one year apart), and they were as bad as I! Thankfully, we all grew up and turned into nice people, largely and primarily due to her constant patience and faith, I'm sure. What a keen example she was in all her silent patience. It's nice now, to be able to watch her so enjoy her rewards. To all the mother's on the list... Thank you, and congratulations on a job very well done. You may not see it yet, in fact you may well say " This guy is INSANE! " , but there WILL come a day when your children will grow up and come to love and appreciate what you did for them as they were growing up... And, they'll probably even turn out okay, in spite of the drama that they may be putting you through now. Haha. Oh, life's irony. So thank you, Louie and (my mother's name... and yes, she is THE virgin , I'm convinced... she hides her wings, but not well) for sharing with us what you're sharing with your mothers and what they're sharing with you. It's nice to be reminded of the " good stuff " too. WTG. BTW... I LOVE to cook for my mother, and I even take her on vacation with me every couple of years or so... We leave my Dad's grouchy butt at home, where he belongs. Haha. And she's the easiesnd is grateful for the least little things. Wonderful woman, and she inspires me. Well, that's it from Lake Woe, lest you start to think I've some kind of unhealthy thing going on here! I wish you all a peaceful and pain-free evening. , you're still in my prayers on a regular basis through the day and night... You know where I think you belong, but I'm not there to pick you up and take you, so I'll wait patiently for your updates about how you ARE GETTING better and better, and that should you begin to fail, you WILL go to the hospital - any hospital. We love you and care for you - we want you around and healthy for a good long time. Afterall - what fun is there EVER in proving a doctor RIGHT??? I'M QUITE SURE that's not something that YOU want any part of!!! Peace & Love, Terry in KC << , What a lovely idea to cook dinner for your mother. I sure she will appreciate it. You sound like an excellent cook, if only you could eat everything you cook you would have it made. But better days are ahead of you. It has been too long, since I have had my mother over for dinner. She only lives next door and is alway sending over something that she thinks I might enjoy. It's ususally something like some good mellon that she has, but she is always is thinking about me. I am very lucky to have her love & support. SHe is going to Cleveland with me next week for my doctors appt., so my husband doesn't have to take off work. I think I will buy her lunch and also have her over for dinner some evening soon. , thanks for the lovely suggestion of cooking dinner for you Mother.
