There are several sets of mutation which do confer vas deferens on the guys,

and not much on us women--so far as we know. Ir remains to be seen whether

in later life these individuals will develop any symptomatology of the

disease

itself and/or require the appropriate medication. The Toronto Mutation Data

Base allows one to access each mutation and examine each one for this in

formation. I could hunt the darned thing up on my Internet Explorer (again),

but

finally took it off as I needed more page file memory on my computer. There

are

mutations that are nonsense and do nothing as well. Many with actual sympto

matic cystic fibrosis have been diagnosed first upon the discovery that they

had

vas deferens, but usually they had a life history of chronic lung and or

digestive

disorder as well.
