Hi Katy!

I can only speak from experience, but that I do have! I've been

before an A.L. Judge for SSDI twice!

In my case, be aware that a Vocational Rehab specialist might be

present. One was in both of my instances. In my case, this person

bombarded me with questions as to why can't I this or that. The 1st

time I was denied, so I started the process all over again and

learned from my mistakes.

My advise to you would be, have lots of documentation WITH diagnosis'

on them.Preferably recent. I think what helped me most wasn't

anything that my (supposed) Atty. said, but rather my discharge

papers from a very recent hospitalization. On the discharge papers

was written several diagnosis'. Acute, Panc.,Chonic Panc.,Biliary

Dyskenesia, IBS, & Diabetis.Of course I don't think that it hurt my

case when I excused myself half-way through the court session to go

to the bathroom. When I returned, the A.L.Judge asked me very

adamently, " Can you please tell the court why it had to be

interrupted so abruptly Ms. Kushnerick? " I just answered, " Well, your

Honor, if I hadn't gone to the bathroom to take my sandostatin shot

and pain meds when I did, I'm afraid that I would have wound up back

in the hospital tonight! " No one said a word! And I was approved that

time! YIPPEE!

So, be prepared, BE PREPARED!! Have both barrels loaded when you go!

Good Luck!

I'll be praying for you!
