Guest guest Posted August 26, 2002 Report Share Posted August 26, 2002 Hi everyone! I have read alot about end-stage CP and all you unfortuate enough to be there (God bless you all). I realize and am thankful that I still have my panc., although I realize also that I am 7 yrs plus post- sphinterotomy. I know the next step for me will either be another attempt at Sphinterotomy, a stint (doubtful) or bypass of some sort. However, my ??? revolves aroung something that a Visiting Home Health Nurse said to me a while back. Out of the blue, this less than tactful RN said, " You know of course that your CP will probably turn into Panc. Cancer eventually don't you? Oh, I suppose your Drs. have already told you that though, huh? " BLOW ME AWAY!!! I said NO, I've never heard of that! But thanks for brightening my day Sunshine! So here's my question... what stats are there, if any, on CP turning into cancer??? Anyone??? Thanks ! Peaceful dreams to all!
