CF Video's

Hey Everyone....

Does anyone want to help me in this project that I REALLY REALLY WANT to

happen???? Pretty please with sugar say YES YES YES.

Ok...well that is it you ask...well what I would like to do is create a video

library with CF informational video's...not the typical monatone versions but

patients doing most of the teaching.

Here are some that I would like to do...

1.Not Poster Children Anymore : Adults Living with CF(group interviews,career

choices,family matters,ect)

2.Parents Point of View : Raising a Child with CF ( Interviews with parents

of CF Kids,shows everything from tube feeding to CPT to Breathing TX and

hospitalizations, and what to do if you have other children )

3.Gift of Life : When a Teenager Needs New Lungs ( follow a couple of teens

in different stages of TX, Interview one waiting and one post-Tx to compair

quality of life)

4. Hospital Gowns are Out ! ! !: Tune Up Time ( what will happen during a

Tune-Up..maybe a 2 piece series..one for Teens and one for Kids and Parents

?Or thats what I would like to do)

5.Fitting CF into Life (For Teens and Young Adults

hospitalizations,friends,meds,therapy)

6. I Can't Stop Worrying : Parents of Teens with CF (Why do they say they

take their meds when they don't,ect)

7. Diabetes....One more thing to deal with ( Talks about Diabetes in CF and

its Treatment ....talks to Diabetics of all ages with CF and they show how to

do injections ,ect....)

Now what I need is some help....It doesn't matter who gets interviewed or

where...I have tried contacting Universities in the Raleigh area but with no

luck. We need someone who would be willing to donate some time to do these

interviews....So if people can contact TV stations,Colleges,ect and ask if

someone would do a piece or two...

We would need someone who is used to setting up interviews and has

semi-proffesional video experience (sorry soccor games don't count).

Those that live in Denver or the surrounding area? Possibly the docs there

could help set up the kids (of course you can set it up with your own kids or

do a group thing...making sure everyone stays infection safe.

Right now the important part will be finding a film crew to do it( I don't

think CF Paitents will be a problem to find =)...College students in film

studies may be a good resource.
