is Ct good test for Pancreatitis?

Hello,

I am new here. I don't know if I have pancreatic problems or not, but I have

always had nausea, diahrrea and pain in my left side and back, under my ribs.

Now I have had 4 severe gallstone attacks. I am having the GB out soon.

I am going in tomorrow for a CT of the abdomen and was wondering if any of you

have had this. Has it helped in making a diagnosis?
