Hello everyone,

I have not posted much in the last months because I have been working

40-50 hrs a week for months. I am extremely stubborn and feel that we

got into financial problems because of me being sick. I have worked

through many episodes, but because of good pain management it has

been much easier to get through the pain.

I also feel that I have ruined the holidays the last two years

because of this CP and I am determined to give my family the Christmas

They deserve. My daughter (16yrs) gets very upset if I say I ruined

the last two. My family is great.

But on the 4th of December I made it one year with out being in the

hospital. Then agian my GI would have to know that I have had several

big flair ups without letting him know. The agreemant I have with my

husband is if I start loosing weight I will call. The flair up last

week was bad (out of work all week), and I lost about 3lbs. Cheating

on my diet is not an option now. So gaining the weight back could be

a problem. I see pain doc on Thursday and he may tell on me. I know

in my heart that the duct is block agian, but I am determined to get

through the holidays before I call my GI.

I want to thank everyone for their support. I read many of the post

and have learned a tremedous of knowledge from this group.

I hope everyone has a good holidays, and know that I am prayer that

you all can have a pain free day.

Cheryl
