Arggghhhh! I thought I saw vanilla and alcohol only. Darn. > Same thing happened in our cooking class. The helper supplied illegal vanilla and we had to send for Frontier which makes two legal varieties, one with alcohol and one with glycerin. I had prebaked a finishd legal cheesecake at home for the students to sample and took the one we made in class with the illegal vanilla home. I took one taste and it hurt so gave it away. Carol F. His tummy seems fine on this (3 days > now). > Elaine's reservations about using nut milk early in the diet were two fold. First many people were using commercial nut milks. This is a no no because many/all have illegal gums added. Secondly, if you are using a lot of nut flour/nut butter items then you may be overloading the body with too much of the good stuff that is in the nuts. When the body is healing early on in the diet too much nuts or nut milk can put a strain on the body. So, if your son seems okay with the almond milk it should be fine. You may want to dilute it some. How much do you plan to use daily? If you plan to use nut baked goods in addition to the nut milk, it would probably be prudent to use a different nut for the baked goods (pecan macadamian etc.) than you use for the nut milk.
