Secondly, if you are using a lot of nut flour/nut butter items then you may be overloading the body with too much of the good stuff that is in the nuts. When the body is healing early on in the diet too much nuts or nut milk can put a strain on the body. So, if your son seems okay with the almond milk it should be fine. You may want to dilute it some. How much do you plan to use daily? If you plan to use nut baked goods in addition to the nut milk, it would probably be prudent to use a different nut for the baked goods (pecan macadamian etc.) than you use for the nut milk.
