Hi there. Yes I still do have my gallbladder and have had an

ultrasound about a year and a half ago which showed it to be normal

but that is just when my problems were just beginning. Do the two

have a correlation together?

Just finishing an attack I had this afternoon that had me wiped out

for awhile. Still think it is pancreatitis and not IBS although the

second would be better but I just don't believe in IBS at all!!!!!

Biker Blue,

yes gallstones and other gallbladder problems can cause

pancreatitis. Most of us usually have it removed at some

point. Sometimes it helps, sometimes it doesn't. Doctors

don't know why that happens, but they do know that it can

occasionally be the problem, so if they don't know what is

causing your pancreatitis, they usually have the gallbladder

removed.
