Hi

The problem is that we have had the tube for 2 and a half months and

have had to change the button twice already , the balloon that keeps

the button in keeps springing leaks.

Are you changing it yourself or is your doc? It sounds like there's too much

water in the balloon. It only needs 5cc--6cc max. Could that be it? What size

is the button?

Hi

We are very careful only to put in 5ccs of water. Do you know how

long they are supposed to last.

Usually that means the acid in her stomach is way too much for the balloon

she may need a new type of enzymes they are MT's they help reduce acid as

does Zantac.Rebekah went thru tubes on the average of 1 per 3 to 6 weeks for

over 2 years then we switched to Mt's and she went to one tube every 3to 6

months.I hope this helps .Rebekah had her tube from 8 months till her

5thb-day.We changed her tube at home it was very easy.Good Luck with the

tube.Becky B
