Guest guest
Becky, I know what you mean.. I had the same problem last year. Unfortunately this year my face hasnt been great really during any part of the year for any significant amount of time, so this time around I'm most likely going to go from bad to worse rather than just from good to bad. Some suggestions to help keep the summer a little more bareable.. 1) Can you afford a room air-conditioner and/or window-fan? It helped me tremendously last summer to be able to go up into my room and crank on the a/c and just chill on my bed listening to music or reading something when I just got too hot to deal with anything else. 2) My girlfriend asked me if I wanted to go on a roadtrip this summer for a week or two, so we decided to take a trip a bit up north to Canada(I know you probably can't drive too far north in Australia, but could you maybe go on a vacation somewhere? I know that might get a bit expensive...) 3) And a cheap but effective help.. drink ALOT of really cold ice water during the day, cool yourself down from the inside out before your face gets the chance to become overheated... Its not a total solution but it helps..

Ok, I have complained enough. I don't know, Becky. We'd have to adjust to our water circling the drain in the other direction, putting shrimp on the barbie, and feel isolated and inferior to the rest of the world for no good reason. On the other hand, we'd get a great opera house for 6 months a year. Crocodile Skin Dundee, MD

Wouldn't do you much good if you're allergic to the heat though, cause the further north you go, the hotter it gets. Personally, my skin _lurves_ warm, humid climates. I've considered many times if I wouldn't be better off moving to northern Queensland and becoming a reef bum Stuart

Guest guest
It's weird how we are all so different. I am thankful winter is coming to an end. That is my bad season, the air is so dry I have a rough time. The good thing about summer is my office is air-conditioned instead of heated . I love air-conditioning! > >To: rosacea-support >Subject: Vent/Summer >Date: Thu, 11 Apr 2002 03:57:18 +0000 > >Hi all, > Brief vent- summers back. I am going to just die. Guest guest
So would you like 2 summers? My skin gets worse in summer. We have lots of humidity here in the South. I could have 2 winters you could have 2 summers......... But then I'd miss teaching SCUBA diving even though my face hates clarion, water and sub I can't live without diving.
