Hey guys

I'have tried to make the goat yogurt, and I don't know what I am doing

wrong. The first patch was hard to do, but I kept doing it.It came out

kind of runny, but worked.

It is with the initial heating. I find myself keep skimming the

" the stuff " off the top while I am heating the milk. And then it takes

forever to heat to 180.

Should I just not skim the fat off the top!

What am I doing wrong? it Should I just not skim and let the " fat " on

the top build up till the temp rises and then skim? What?

Thanks

Bridget

Goat yogurt is thinner/runnier than cow yogurt. Some " drip " the

yogurt to make it thicker. Instructions at

www.breakingtheviciouscycle.info ( " Beginners guide " - then " SCD

yogurt " , then " dripping pictorial guide " )

You don't have to skim the fat off the milk.

I have only made goat yogurt a few times but didn't skim those -

they turned out fine :)

Drip your goat yogurt and you will have a thick creamy product.
