Guest guest
Hi, Can't answer your question about the intro diet, we had to work our way through that similar situation with Cameron (4 yrs old in May), but a fantastic thing about taking his supplements happened that I never expected... He has to take about 15 capsules a day (of various supps) and our DAN! just told us to show him how to swallow a capsule like an adult. He DID and still does, esp. since he gets to chase those capsules with diluted Welch's grape juice - something he hasn't laid eyes on for almost a year while GFCFSF. Give it a try - he may surprise you... ps - and Cameron's also a major gagger with certain foods/textures/smells. As long as the legal juice you used was diluted, then a fair amount is okay. It will supply carbs and nutrients. Try to balance it out somewhat with eggs and chicken. Will he eat the cooked carrots? (Cooked veggies help against constipation) > does he have to have the broth? No, he doesn't. >We have constipation problems. Since you are dealing with constipation, 2-3 days on the intro is sufficient. (maximum of 5 days on the intro) There are two important links on constipation at http://www.breakingtheviciouscycle.info/ Go to the " Knowledge Base " and then to 1. " Constipation " and 2. " Constipation continued " > BTW, how do you give your picky eaters those powdered supplements? any > suggestion would help. Some put them in diluted juices, homemmade applesauce/pearsauce or mashed ripe banana Sheila, SCD 61 mos, 22 yrs UC mom of and
