Not only that. Though I have seen a bit of more hair loss ( I suffered

already from this so I am not sure about it ) I have seen no side

effects from Accutane at all. And I have been for longer than a year now

I believe. 10 mgs a day.

I do not consider myself an accutane pusher. I agree that Dr.

should try an holistic, whole foods approach, although I suspect that

after a lifetime of disfiguring acne he has probably already tried

everything. Accutane can have serious side effects and should only be

considered in severe cases and after careful research, although again,

from everything I have read, very low doses are safe. I have tried all

the holistic approaches to reduce my nose swelling, but nothing works

better for me than accutane. For those of us with severe sebaceous

gland abnormalities, accutane may be worth a try. I know three people

who took this drug in the early 80's for severe acne and have been

completely acne free now for almost 20 years with no lingering side

effects.

Everyone is different.
