Guest guest
YEP....I just took 3 cards off the tree at church for foster kids & There was a 14 year old gal & her request was for " hair stuff " .I got things like brush/comb/mirror/set in a baggie, clips, several other cards of things to hold hair back , some really teen barrettes.....so the sales lady said & the picture on cards were teens. , a nice shampoo/rinse /conditioner set, a holder (small ) for makeup, & another for " hair stuff. I also picked up some of the makeup things like Q-tips, cotton makeup wipes, & clean scrub little squares to remove make-up. I am putting it in a small make-up type zipper carry case .If she is foster home(HOW LONG??) she can just put it in all together with her actual make-up? if she has to leave . Do you think those were o.k. things.? My granddaughter thought they were .....she is 17.....a senior..... Guest guest
Thanks for all your suggestions, everyone. I called my neice Friday to wish her a happy birthday, and asked what she and her siblings wanted for Christmas. I came close to guessing their tastes. The 10- yr. old wants anything with horses on it; the 14-yr. old wants an autographed Jordan jersey (yikes!), and the 16-yr. old wants " anything girly that looks like it came from Chicago. " So... the hunt is on! Kim Mom of (23 with asthma and cf) and (20 asthma no cf)
