Hey everyone!

I am still working on the legality of my children's supplemental

protocols and nearing the end. Thanks for everyone's help so far. I

have another one to analyze -- vital nutrients' ultra pure fish

oil " RS " (regular strength).

The website is http://www.vitalnutrients.net . It is catagorized

under fishoil, ultra pure RS 220ml. The ingredients are EPA

(eicosapentaenoic acid), DHA (docosahexaenoic acid), other omega 3

fatty acids, natural lemon flavor, antioxidant blend (rosemary

extract, ascorbyl palmitate, natural tocopherols), triglyceride form

fish oil.

OK . . . so the natural flavors and such sound fishy to me (pun

intended :)). But has anyone already checked this out? If not, what

questions do I need to ask to investigate? What answers should I

expect?

Thanks in advance for any guidance. I am trying my darndest to get

this right. All help is greatly appreciated.

Hi! My son Lucas is on Day 3 of SCD. (We started in January, but Lucas was

drinking brown rice milk/coconut milk w/guar gum), so I can say now that he

is fully on the diet! I really want to re-introduce fish oils. Lucas

babbles but is not using many words. Should I hold off or is now a good

time? I was going to purchase the Nutra-Sea fish oil by Ascenta Health. Is

this legal?

Thanks, Anita

The oil is good. I don't know about the soft gels - there is no

list of what the soft gels are made with. If you want the soft gels

call the company and check what they are made of.

Along these lines:

Elaine recommended vitamin D supplementation in the winter months -

either cod liver, halibut oil or Vitamin D supplements (page 65,

10th edition BTVC) During summer months fish oil is sufficient.
