Guest guest
Georgia - I think almost all fat people try to make everyone else happy!!! We are sooo conditioned by society that if we are fat that no one will like us that we overcompensate and try to make everyone happy!!! Hopefully this surgery will cure that - we need to be number one for a while!!! Guest guest
Georgia, I had very supportive friends. One couple was very supportive when I told of my plans, the next day I received an e-mail saying that if I was doing it for medical reasons they were behind me but if it was cosmetic that they loved me the way I was. I thought that was very sweet, I reassured them it was medical. Darlene Georgia FLowers wrote: > Susie, You are right I am gonna do this one way or the other and > they > are gonna have to accept it! Guest guest
Joanne, I was stunned by your statement about fat people trying to keep everyone else happy so that they will like us. It was like alight bulb turning on. That is exactly the way I have felt for all my adult life I guess. (Hope that doesn't mean that when I have the mgb, I become a __tch! lol) Seriously, that has me thinking. Thanks for the insight! Dinah in Alabama Hoping to mail my packet tomorrow! > > > I agree it is my life and I alone cane really make this decision. > > What I was struggling with last night was my need to make everyone > > else happy at my own expense.
