Tell me it gets better...

Please tell me this gets better. We have been SCD for a week now,

because of my daughter. She has autism, and prior to this was GFCF

for almost 3 years. She had progressed to the point that, within

her routine, she almost behaved like a normal person (though still

with significant delays). But the last 3 days have just been

terrible. She's been so angry and throwing tantrums over every

little thing! She won't participate in circle time at school

anymore, and they've had trouble with her transitioning within her

pre-set routines. She's also got red cheeks, her under-eye circles

are looking worse than before, and she hasn't pooped in about 4 days.

We did 2 days on intro. She ate mainly eggs & grape juice jello.

We've introduced bananas, apples, pears, carrots, green beans,

squash, chicken, venison, BUT she will only eat bananas &

applesauce. So her diet now consists of eggs, bananas, applesauce,

& jello plus grape & orange juice (diluted and only legal brands of

course).

We have been doing epsom salt baths(1/2 cup salts per bath).

What else can we do? Is this behavior die-off? Is there a problem

with her only eating these foods? She won't accept the new things I

offer. She won't touch chicken pancakes with a 10 foot pole. she

just played with her squash fries. She screamed for 30+ minutes

when I wouldn't give her another cup of juice after she'd had 3 and

hadn't eaten any food.... Please tell me this gets better!!!!!!!! I

am committed, but starting to LOSE IT.
