first yogurt -- super-sour!

Hi everyone,

I made my first batch of yogurt in the Yogourmet maker -- the SCD

recipe worked like a charm.

My problem is the super-tartness of the yogurt. Am I just a yogurt

wimp? I love Total Greek yogurt -- love Trader Joe's Cream Line

plain, but this yogurt is so sour it made my whole body shiver! Even

wtih honey, my kids couldn't get it down. Is this something related to

the starter I used (I used the Yogourmet starter), and have any of you

had experience with other starters making the flavor of the yogurt

change?
