Guest guest
Hi Just hoping to get some opinions please to clarify my thinking. I read something, somewhere, sorry I don't recall the source, but the derm. said that " no pimples, no rosacea " That got me to thinking about my own case. I was diagnosed either in 1989 or 1990. My face is not red. My cheeks are a little pink but I still need to wear blush to get a good just in from the cold blush. I don't have nay bumps on my face, never did. No pimples or rash. Is it possible that I have sensitive skin but not rosacea. I am terrified that by not using the rosacea topicals that one day I will wake up and have the bumps and pimples. After 12-13 years from the initial diagnosis with no sustained use of oral meds or topical ( plus loads of abuse in terms of sun, AHA's and skincare ) wouldn't I have the pimples by now. Dr. Nase seems to define rosacea in terms of stages which if left untreated will advance pretty quickly. Of course, I still have the problem with sensitive skin and how to deal with that. Have a relaxing and enjoyable weekend. And feel free to contact me personally if you would prefer not to post. I love to chat .
