I was just verifying this in some of my herb and nutrition books. It looks like we are going to be using more dill in our own cooking, and I am going to plant it in my garden this summer, for sure! Also, the article mentions it has no measurable levels of goitrogens, oxalates and purines, high in iron, calcium and manganese, and kills bacteria similar to the actions of garlic. Maybe we should all make some homemade dill pickles...? Would this be SCD legal? Guest guest
OK! This is very exciting! Since I don't have a garden . . . is there an illegal form of dill that should not be purchased, or is any form of dill appropriate for SCD? What can you put dill in? We are in stage 2. Dill weed (the herb) is legal . If you use the seeds start small the first time to see that they are tolerated. If you use the " leafy " part it is fine dried or fresh.
