Unfortunately, it is difficult to be sure if the dextrose is unadulterated (see Dextrose). It is easy to make your own. Electrolyte drink 1 quart boiled water 2 tbsp. honey 1/4 tsp. of salt 1/4 tsp.baking soda Can be kept in refrigerator for 24 hours, and then a new batch should be mad Marie richy_peach@...> wrote: Hello, My son currently has stomach flu. But my son won't drink soups and the scd meals I usually feed him contain ground meat or turkey. I also had to give him pedialite so he will be rehydrated. Does anyone have any recommendaions? My son has sensitivities to nuts therefore I could not feed him nut bread. Thanks for any suggestions. When we have stomach flu etc I usually stick to the intro diet or all plain cooked veggies, plain meats, scrambled or boiled eggs. Usually the biggest thing is to keep hydrated - diluted legal juices or homemade electrolyte mix see http://pecanbread.com/recipes.html Sheila, SCD 61 mos, 22 yrs UC mom of and
