Guest guest
Hi Elaine: I have been thinking about you and the rest of our litter and wondering how you were doing. I am so glad to hear all is well and that your blood pressure is down. I have not weighed my self in a couble of weeks and I am only going to do it once a month. I am expecting my monthly friend any day so when it is over then I will weigh in and share my stats. How are you doing as far as eating is going? Take care! Guest guest
Great Job Elaine! Keep up the good work.....19 pounds is great, especially to never return! I had my surgery the 8th of June, today was the first day I felt good enough to actually exercise, although I have been walking daily. Remember to drink, drink, drink. When I am really tired, I find that V-8 is the thing that really makes the difference. I think that is from the salt. Dr. Rutledge has said before that the salt is one of the things that we need when we get dehydrated and need some hydration. Deena

Guest guest
Elaine! What wonderful news! I'm so happy for you that you are off your BP meds and it's no longer a problem! I'm still on mine, although at a lower dose, but totally off my diabetes meds since surgery! Keep it up! I agree with you that without the surgery, every pound lost could have been a gain. Congratulations on the 19 gone! {{HUGS}} Claire MGB 4/10/00 300/259.5 Yippeeeee 15.25 inches lost forever!! We also were turned down but were accepted on 3rd appeal after phoning and finding the right person to make our case to. To our surprise, we learned that they weren't even going to read the 3rd appeal (!) but were going to refuse it without further review because of their " out of network " policy. Be a warrior!!!!
