As a side note, someone asked me in a private email how Matija is

pronounced. I realize it's not a common name, so here it goes: Ma-tee-

yah. It's a Croatian man's name for and the j is pronounced

like a y. In the village my parents are from, they do name women with

this name. A few other women have this name elsewhere in Croatia but

it's not common. There are lots more guys with the name Matija.

Lucky for me the name sounds feminine here in the US!
