Guest guest
I'm not familiar with Dr. Sy's recommendations, however, I take baby aspirin twice a day and it has reduced the flushing quite a lot. For anyone who can take aspirin safely, I suggest giving it a try. --- Dennis & Galway dgalway@...> wrote: > I copied the suggested items ( tagamet, vitamin B6, > childrens' aspirin, chlor-trimeton, tums ) but I > have not tried it as yet. Guest guest
In my experience and judging by posts from people on here and AOL, if you take aspirin once a day your facial redness will be reduced for a few hours only to flush more later that day than you would if you hadn't taken it. So I am wondering if the only options are taking aspirin twice a day everyday, or not at all, and... if the rebound flush alot of people get is a signal that aspirin progresses the disease altogether. > > I copied the suggested items ( tagamet, vitamin B6, > > childrens' aspirin, chlor-trimeton, tums ) but I > > have not tried it as yet. Guest guest
I haven't heard of rebound flushing off of aspirin. Nor have I heard anything of aspirin progressing the disease. However, with rosacea nothing surprises me. I swear rosacea is a gremlin who has taken up residence inside of us. --- timmay21702 BookerT2511@...> wrote: > In my experience and judging by posts from people on > here and AOL, if > you take aspirin once a day your facial redness will > be reduced for a > few hours only to flush more later that day than you > would if you > hadn't taken it.
