Guest guest
Hi, In getting my physical exam, etc., I was diagnosed with thrombocytopenia. My platelets were 71 and should be twice as high. Have had no symptoms such as excessive bleeding, etc. Have been told surgeons will not operate and anesthesiologists will not sleep a patient with this count. Only hope is to have a platelet transfusion prior to surgery. Anyone know anything about thrombocytopenia?
