I had my laptop, and did just that. I didn't respond to email, but I did

read the list and surf. It works fine!!! :)

Hi All,

I've become so addicted to this message board, my Husband is

about to pull the plug.

Does anyone know if I can take my laptop to the hospital and if you

can get internet access from the phones in the room???

Or are you too wiped out to care after the surgery? I hate to just

sit and watch TV..wouldn't it be cool to surf the net while

recovering?

Have a good day,

Hi Amy,

All I did was sleep....no TV...no elaborate conversations. However

that does remind me of something. Rick and Janet Armor came by to visit me

and I had slid down low toward the foot of the bed. I guess I looked

uncomfortable because Rick told my husband Randy to get on the other side and

each one grabbed me under my arm and pulled me back up. I thought that was so

sweet since Rick was only about 2 weeks post-op himself and he could have

busted a staple pulling on my fat #@$. Any way, I just remembered that and I

wanted you ladies to know what a gentleman Rick Armor is. Thanks Rick for

saving me....I hope I didn't hurt you. Another little hint that Rick and

Janet gave me was about the leg wraps that inflate. There is a little fan for

cool air that blows in them and keeps you from being so hot with them on. I

know it made me feel so much better. Well, so much for my MGB surgery

flashback. I contribute my need to sleep to all the Benedryl they gave me to

combat my allergic reactions to the meds. Most everyone else was up doing

laps in the hallway especially Francine. That woman amazed me!!!!!

Amy, are you feeling better????? I hope the pain has subsided. I'm

praying for you!!

Love,

Genz

Thanks Genz! Yes, I do feel better. I don't know what those cramps were,

but I feel much better now. I just kept pretending I didn't have them, and

they went away! :)

I'm LOVING water aerobics. It's too easy, though! I need to do something

more intense. I think I'll try Jazzercise. If you guys feel the earth

moving next week, you'll know I decided to go for it! (Well, maybe just the

East coast. I don't know if you'd feel it in Texas!)

I'm down almost 30 pounds. I wanted so much to say 30, but it's 29. YAY!

I've stayed on liquids since Wednesday, and that may have helped. Whatever,

I'm happy with it! I can't wait until someone notices. I don't care if

it's the mailman!!!

I'm so excited about the cruise! I've never been on one. I don't care

where we go, I know we'll have a blast!!!

Amy.
