Hi everyone,

As of today I have fired two derms and stop taking all presribed

meds. The first derm prescribed a cortizone cream that initially

helped but then increased my symptoms to the point I was nearly

always in pain. The second gave me the normal routine of oral

anibiotics and metgel. The oral antibiotic caused severe yeast

infection and increased intolerance of the sun. I live in south

Texas, where the sun is always bright and usually hot. The gel cause

white heads and increased driness of my skin. The derm told me to

give it more time. So if anyone knows a good derm anwhere in south tx

I would appreciate it.

So I ordered Dr Nash's book, which has helped alot and would strongly

recommend everone here read it. However I need a derm for some of

his suggested treatments. I have thrown out all anti aging and and

other harmful cosmetic and face creams. I am now using cea Care

products, they do not aggravate my skin. My main flushing triggers

are red wine, sun, and emotions. I reduced my intake of wine, where

a physical sunscreen and trying limit time in sun, and take a cool

rag with me where-ever I go (thanks group for that suggestion, its

really helped). Lastly Ive quite smoking and starting breating

deeply and drinking more water(again thanks for the suggestions). the

intense burning has drastically decreased, skin is somewhat

healthier, but flushing continues to be a major problem. However,

due to recent events in my life, I have decided not to let this

condition control my life, I fully intend on continuing to go to the

beach(evenings now), work in my yard, laugh, cry, and yes drink some

wine. While i will continue to fight this, (hoping the money saved

from not smoking will pay for laser treatments)I will enjoy life's

journey couase it is much to short. So I wish each of you love,

peace and happiness Louanna
