Guest guest
Okay, this is great information but I'm still wondering about stool tests for candida and gluten/casein/lactose intolerance. Any thoughts? gwen luca - 3 scd 3 weeks second time around Bunce ajbunce@...> wrote: Guess what Guys, our story is a little different.....OUR CELIAC BLOOD WORK WAS NEGATIVE...I insisted on the biopsy on both me and my husband and IT CAME BACK POSITIVE FOR CELIAC DISEASE/Celiac Sprue! You see, Celiac Disease is so misunderstood! THE CSA-USA (Celiac Sprue Association) gets 6 to 8 calls a week with people like us who are not faring well on the gluten free diet (all diagnosed with Celiac Disease!). Thought I would add this to the conversation....tests are not everything! We would have slipped through the cracks/ my entire family...if it hadn't been for my persistence, pissing doctors off (even being fired by one!)....and finding two that would finally listen. Re: Re: recommended tests I was diagnosed with celiac via the blood test. Yes, my doctor could have ordered the biopsy, but he said I would know for sure just by going on the gluten free diet. Guest guest
Hi Gwen! I must have missed the post with your question. What exactly were you wondering? My kids had tests for all the things you mentioned. They were urine tests (OAT . . . organic acid profile tests) done by Great Plains Laboratories. Is this what you were wondering?
