Guest guest
a, I know this is disgusting but is it regular reflux or bile? I had GERD before surgery but have had none since but I did have bile reflux once. It was awful and I was afraid to go to sleep the next night. My friends on here suggested that I may not be taking my meds right so I made some alterations and have not had a reoccurance. Guest guest
I know this is even MORE disgusting, but what are " regular " and " bile " reflux like? I think I've been having the " regular " kind, but keep forgetting to ask my PCP about it. (I'm pre-op) Does it feel like a big stone right behind your throat--like you want to cough really hard or burp to clear it, but neither helps? I've been waking up feeling like this, and occasionally during the day too. Is this reflux? Thanks for the advice! --a > > > > > > > Hey everybody, > > > > > > > > I just weighed in. Guest guest
I don't really have bile reflux. It's constant ..... burping and hiccuping, but not really... hard to explain. I can't really compare it anything because I didn't have this problem before surgery. I am finding out that the only food that really makes my tummy feel good is chinese food, rice and veggies. I could eat on that all day. However, I am a lousy cook so that means going out. Right now, my tummy is slightly yucky. If I felt this way before surgery, I'd have a milk shake. The coolness and coating settles my tummy? Did I say before surgery? Hmmmmm.... Tums, yuck, they give me a terrible afertaste in my mouth. Do they help. sorta. Yes, I guess they do... some... My mom used to munch on them all the time. So, we had them at our table constantly. Anyway, I'm going to go eat some cereal, that helps sometimes too. See ya. a a Mease-White wrote: > > I know this is even MORE disgusting, but what are " regular " and > " bile " > reflux like? > > I think I've been having the " regular " kind, but keep forgetting to > ask my PCP about it.
