Guest guest
Butter does not have to be cultured for SCD, some people here use ghee, come coconut butter or other SCD legal vegetable oils. It's a matter of preferance. Summer moeller124 no_reply > wrote: I have been useing organic sweet butter. It says nothing about being cultured though. However, it can also be made from acidulated or bacteriologically soured cream ..(cultured) Cultured butter is regular butter with a bacteria culture added to it to give it taste. Thisculture will eat up any lactose that remains in regular butter. So cultured butter has less lactose than regular butter. This may be why Elaine said this is the best kind of butter for us.
