Bacon/Side pork

I have read many of you on the look for legal bacon. Even if it had

the right sweetner(Honey) in it we would not be able to use it because

of the nitrates/nitrites.

I have recently bought side pork. The butcher that I get it from

slices it for me and it is locally grown instead of out there where

you have no idea of the conditions of the criters.

As I am frying it I salt it a little 2-3 times. It is yummy. We like

it better than any bacon we have ever gotten as that is many times too

salty for us.

Sandy, and to all it may concern....I am glad to know that we are not the only

ENTIRE FAMILY SCD!

Thank you for the advice...we too, do not want nitrates/nitrites...good idea!

Will look into it. Preservatives are such scary things in light of seeing one's

child disappear....into a void that once was even mine......it is nice to feel

grounded for the first time...in reality without a brain fog all the time! Yes

I may be a " rain women " of sorts....I always felt " disconnected " ....not as much

any more. What a reward to detox and clean out the body of crap! And to think

we are only going to feel better...not just our kids but us! Our " adult " rage

attacks and impatience is even improving...it is so easy sometimes to just

concentrate on their behavior...forgetting that they are not alone...with acting

" out of hand " . I know...I don't know if this pertains to you guys...but it sure

does us and our family!
