Guest guest
Hello everyone: Has anyone tried Biotherm Biosensitive Thermal Calming Spray or their calming moisterizer? I received a sample from Shoppers Drug Mart and have been using for about a week. It seems to be OK. My skin feels nice. Does anyone find that when using a topical product that it may take more than a week to figure out if it will cause problems or not? Please let me know. I want to buy the moisterizer but it is very expensive and as you fellow rosaceans know we already spend lots of $$ on products we can't continue to use. Sorry, I don't have the ingredients with me to post right now. Thanks for any input. Star
Guest guest
Star, I tried Biotherm Biosensitive's foaming cleanser last winter. I thought it had a weird consistency, did a terrible at cleaning, was very expensive, plus had fragrance listed in the ingredients despite advertising itself as fragrance-free. Thermal plankton -- gimme a break! Biotherm is under Lancome's umbrella, so their consumer relations department should be a good source of ingredients. I need a good two weeks before I know whether a product works for me. Two examples I know about: myistate and related compounds did not cause pustules until at least a week in, and some so-called anti- inflammatory agents that work great in the beginning either stop working, or start irritating my skin, by the second week. In my experience some upscale department stores, and Parfumie/House of Beauty, allow for returns even after product use. Like you, I don't purchase an expensive skin care product without a guarantee that I can return it. Explaining the need for a full two- week trial usually gets me an extra sample vial or two. Hope that helps. Marjorie Marjorie Lazoff, MD > Hello everyone: > > Has anyone tried Biotherm Biosensitive Thermal Calming Spray or their > calming moisterizer?
